Background and Objectives

Now part of the Fabrick Group,Tees Valley Housing Ltd was formed in April 2008 by bringing together , the former Tees Valley Housing Group, Tees Valley Trust and Banks of the Wear Community Housing Association. Tees Valley Housing Group was itself formed by the merger of two locally based registered social landlords (RSL’s), Phoenix Housing Association and Teesside Housing Association in 1999.

Tees Valley Housing Ltd works principally within the southern area of North East England and has developed considerable skill and expertise particularly in regeneration initiatives, supported housing for young people, community led and BME housing, community investment as well as shared ownership and leasehold provision. A stable and healthy financial position is complemented by excellent performance, when compared to peers both regionally and nationally and in comparison to Housing Corporation requirements.

TVHL believes in investing in neighbourhoods through new and innovative range of services and initiatives and not simply relying on those traditionally provided by RSLs. This approach helps retain residents and provide positive attractions for new ones. This fits well with the In Business for Neighbourhoods Initiative of the National Housing Federation.

Statement of Purpose

Tees Valley Housing Ltd has an over-arching vision which encapsulates our role as a service provider for our residents in building neighbourhoods where people choose to live.

Key Corporate Objectives
