Anti Social Bahaviour (ASB)
Tees Valley Housing is committed to tackling and stamping out anti-social behaviour. We are constantly looking at ways in which we can support and assist those suffering from anti-social behaviour and where appropriate will use the powers and tools available against perpetrators of such behaviour.
Respect Agenda
Tees Valley Housing Ltd signed up to the Respect Agenda on the 24th January 2008 reaffirming our commitment to tackling anti-social behaviour.
The Respect Agenda is a cross-government strategy tackling anti-social behaviour and its causes. Tees Valley Housing aims to embed a culture of respect through the delivery of our housing management services. When dealing with anti-social behaviour we will adopt a balanced approach involving prevention, early intervention, enforcement and support. We aim to provide our customers with the confidence that we will tackle anti-social behaviour where they live.
Reporting of Anti-Social Behaviour Complaints
We take all complaints of anti-social behaviour seriously and aim to respond as swiftly and effectively as possible to resolve your complaint as soon as we can. In accordance with our service standard we will aim to respond to your complaint within 5 working days. Should your complaint be of a hate/race nature we will investigate this complaint within 2 working days.
We have 8 Housing Officers who have the responsibility to investigate complaints of anti-social behaviour. You can contact your Housing Officer via our customer call centre on (01642) 261100. Note during our working hours Monday – Friday 09.00am till 5.00pm a duty Housing Officer will always be available, you can contact this officer by telephone or in person by visiting our office.
Remember, please contact the police or other emergency services should you have an emergency / be in danger / have witnessed or been a victim of a crime. You should report these sorts of incidents to the police immediately. Tees Valley Housing has a multi-agency approach when dealing with anti-social behaviour; we will work in partnership with the Police and other agencies when required.

We are happy to introduce a dedicated anti-social behaviour telephone line where you can leave a message in confidence telling us about the nature of your problems. Messages will be picked up by staff Monday to Friday during office hours. You can leave a message outside of office hours and during the weekend and we will pick this up when the office is open again. All messages will be responded to within 2 working days so please don’t forget to leave your contact details. This dedicated line will enable you to avoid any call queuing in our customer services centre and allow you to tell us about your problem.

e-mail report will be responded to within 2 working days.
