The following Payment methods are available:
- Tees Valley Allpay.net Payment Card
- This is a plastic payment card that can be used to make payment at any Post Office, Woolworths Store, Pay Point or Pay Zone outlet. Pay Point and Pay Zone outlets are usually local shops, stores, garages and supermarkets. Simply take your card with your payment and pay over the counter. Your account will usually be credited the day after payment is made. You will always get a receipt when paying by this method. If you do not have one of these cards simply call our Customer Service Centre and a card will be dispatched to you within 2 working days.
- Payment by Direct Debit
- Direct Debit is a very efficient and effective way to collect payments directly from your Bank. For joint bank accounts a form called a mandate must be completed which details the payment amount and frequency of which you want the payments to be made eg, weekly or monthly. If you have a sole bank account, Tees Valley operates a paperless system where details can be processed over the telephone. One of the key benefits of this payment method is that once it is set up you know that you do not have to worry about your payments again. If the amount you need to pay changes, Tees Valley can make these amendments on your behalf without you having to contact your Bank. Direct Debit is fast becoming the preferred method of payment for both Tees Valley and customers.
- Payment by Standing Order
- When paying by this method a mandate, similar to a Direct Debit, is completed and taken by you to your Bank. Your Bank will act on your instruction and make the payments automatically to Tees Valley. These payments will continue at the agreed amount until either amended or cancelled by you.
- Payments by Telephone
- Payment can be made over the telephone using either a Debit or Credit card. This is a simple and convenient method of making payment that can be done from your own home. There are two options to choose from when paying by telephone:
- Payment direct to Tees Valley by contacting our Customer Service Centre on 01642 261100.
- Payment using Allpay.net’s 24 hour payment line on 08702 436040 (to pay this way you must have a Tees Valley Allpay.net payment card to quote the reference number during the transaction).
- Payment can be made over the telephone using either a Debit or Credit card. This is a simple and convenient method of making payment that can be done from your own home. There are two options to choose from when paying by telephone:
- Payment On Line using the Internet
- There are two simple ways to make payment on line. For each of these you will need to have your Tees Valley Allpay.net payment card (if you do not have one of these cards simply call our Customer Services Centre using the details on our Contact Us page and a card will be dispatched to you within 2 working days). Just click on to our website hyper link www.allpay.net and enter your details as directed. You will be able to use a Debit or Credit card to make payment. You can also choose to log on directly to www.allpay.net and make your payment in the same way as above entering your account details from your Tees Valley Allpay.net payment card. You can again make your payment using a Debit or Credit card.
- Rent Direct
(Housing Benefit)
- Rent direct is for those customers who are entitled to claim Housing Benefit. When claiming you can ask for your benefit to be paid direct to your Landlord. Once you have provided all of the information for your claim to be assessed and your local Housing Benefit Department has awarded your benefit, payments will be sent direct to Tees Valley. This again is a very convenient method of payment as once your claim is assessed and in pay, you do not have to worry about paying your rent. It is however your responsibility to notify the Housing Benefit Department of any change in your circumstances. It is also your responsibility to provide any further information, within the required timescales, in order to ensure that your entitlement to Housing Benefit continues and rent direct payments are maintained.
- Payment by Post
- Payment can be made by post using either cheque or postal order which should be made payable to Tees Valley Housing Limited. You should ensure that your name and address are always written on the back of the cheque or postal order to ensure we know which account to credit. This method of payment can be slow and inconvenient and we would instead recommend using a Tees Valley Allpay.net payment card.
- Office Payment
- We regret there is no longer a facility to make payment in person at our office.
