Building neighbourhoods where people choose to live
Tees Valley Housing is a leading provider of quality homes in the social housing sector across the northern region of England.
We provide homes for people in need of housing, across a range of different tenures. The main area of our business relates to the provision of general needs rented properties together with shared ownership, whilst we also give our residents the option of other tenures such as shared equity, market rent and intermediate market rent.
In addition, Tees Valley Housing also gives support to the more vulnerable people within society and help them lead independent lives in their own homes where this is possible. The Supported Housing function covers a range of different service users such as those suffering from mental health issues, and learning difficulties. The services are offered to our clients within both specialist accommodation and their own homes.
In order to ensure Tees Valley Housing is able to deliver the services demanded by its current and future residents, there is a strong commitment to the involvement of our tenants and leaseholders in framing policies and developing frontline services. A major element in resident involvement is the Housing Advisory Panel (HAP) which meet regularly with staff and Board members to ensure tenants views are at the core of what we do.
