Family Intervention Projects

Attendees at a FIPTees Valley Family Intervention Projects (FIPs) operate in Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees

The Anti-Social Behaviour Family Intervention Projects (ASB FIPs) are projects for any families living in the Middlesbrough or Redcar and Cleveland areas that are perpetrators of anti-social behaviour and are at risk of eviction or are being evicted from their tenancy.

The Child Poverty Family Intervention Projects (CP FIPs) are projects for families living in the Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland areas that are experiencing intergenerational worklessness and have multiple support needs.

The Youth Crime Action Plan Family Intervention Projects (YCAP FIPs) are projects for families living in the Redcar and Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees areas that are causing anti-social behaviour, involved in criminal activity and have multiple support needs.

The Housing Challenge Family Intervention Project (HC FIP) is a project for Tristar tenants living in the Stockton-on-Tees area who are perpetrators of anti-social behaviour and are at risk of eviction or are being evicted from their tenancy.

The Intensive Intervention Project (IIP) is a project for young people aged ten to 19 living in Middlesbrough area that are causing anti-social behaviour, involved in criminal activity and have multiple support needs.

The projects use a variety of approaches to challenge families/young people regarding their anti-social behaviour or child poverty and provide intensive support and positive intervention.  They aim to facilitate a change in families/young peoples behaviour to improve future prospects and to enable them to positively contribute to their local community.
