Resident Involvement
AT Tees Valley Housing, we recognise the important role that our residents have in helping influence and monitor the services we provide.
We have a genuine commitment to developing effective resident involvement; it is vital to us as it helps us tailor services to meet needs.

MEET the members of your resident involvement team,
Linda Bacon, Resident Involvement Manager and Simon Hislop, Resident Involvement Officer.
The team is based at The Lodge Community House, 408 Marton Road, Middlesbrough TS4 2PB and holds training events and drop-in sessions and has a meeting room which is also available to customers.
Tees Valley tenants can also maximise the use of the Erimus Residents Resource Centre at 14 Cinderwood Thorntree Middlesbrough where the following are available:
- Regular tenant training packages tailored to suit everyone
- Free Internet Use
- Advice and information on joining one of our groups
The Resident Involvement Team are also on hand to offer advice to anyone who is interested in giving there views on how we can improve the services we provide to customers.

Get Involved
You can get involved in a number of ways so there’s a level everyone can feel comfortable with.
You can:
- Be part of a tenants’ or residents’ association
- Be a Housing Advisory Panel member
- Take part in a focus group
- Come along to consultation events
- Visit one of our road shows
- Be a board member
- Read our newsletter or be part of its editorial panel
- Join in with the disability equality forum group
- Be part of the estate improvement panel
- Be involved in mystery shopping

Housing Advisory Panel (HAP)
The HAP is the main tenant consultee group for Tees Valley Housing who meet six weekly. The next meetings are scheduled as follows:
