Supported Housing Projects
Tees Valley Housing Ltd works with various local authorities and organisations throughout the region, providing supported housing services.
We provide for a wide range of client needs, and in a range of settings and situations.
Our chief aim is to provide independence through support. Part of this is involves our continually reviewing of our service and our clients' feedback is essential in our ability to meet this commitment to you.

Floating Support
Floating Support is a joint initiative between Tees Valley Housing Limited and local authorities.
What is it?
Our Floating Support team offers housing related support to people in their own homes. This can include the following:
- Achieve Economic Well Being
Support to maximise your income, inc welfare benefits; reduce your overall debt; sort out your gas, electric, water and TV licences and draw up a budget plan to manage these; obtain paid work.
- Enjoy and Achieve
Assistance to participate in training/education; participate in leisure/cultural/faith and/or informal learning activities; participate in any work-like activities (unpaid/voluntary/work experience); establish contact with external services /groups/ friends /family.
- Be Healthy
Support to develop domestic skills and advice on healthy eating (on a budget), as well as to better manage your physical or mental health and deal with any substance misuse issues.
- Stay Safe
Support to set up, maintain and understand your tenancy and avoid eviction. Assistance to minimise offending behaviour and better manage risk of causing harm to yourself or other people.
- Make a Positive Contribution
Do you need support in developing confidence and ability to have greater voice and /or control and /or involvement within the service as well as the wider community.
Who can we help?
We provide support to various groups of people. These include Young People aged 16-25, Young Parents (aged 16-25), Refugees as well as a scheme (in Redcar and Cleveland) for all ages.
